Below is our list of services, ranging from rough draft edits to writing and application coaching. Prices depend on word count and level of technicality.

Application Coaching Package

This is a comprehensive package that guides you through the entire application process, whether to an undergraduate, graduate, or professional school program. This package assumes an application that includes a Statement of Purpose, Personal Statement, and CV/Resume/Acitvities list. The Application Coaching Package includes:

  • Cool Cat Drafts guides and worksheets
  • 10 one-hour brainstorming and feedback sessions
  • opportunity to ask questions via email throughout the process

We'll begin with a brainstorming session, where we determine how to craft your relevant experiences into a focused application. If you are uncertain about which program to apply to, we can also discuss your program choices. We take you through the entire draft writing process with both written guides and feedback sessions.

This process takes approximately 10 weeks.

Dissertation, Thesis, or Essay Editing

After you have completed a full rough draft of your manuscript, we will proofread it and edit for clarity and logical organization. This package includes:

  • Cool Cat Drafts guides and worksheets
  • proofreading and editing
  • opportunity to ask questions via email throughout the process

Our edits will include tracked changes in MicrosoftWord, so that you can ultimatley determine which changes to keep. Note that we will indicate what sections may need more research and analysis, but we do not do the research or interpret results.

Dissertation, Thesis, or Essay Editing with Coaching

If you have an almost-complete manuscript draft and would like more one-on-one guidance, our editing + coaching package allows you to ask more questions regarding the writing process. This package includes:

  • Cool Cat Drafts guides and worksheets
  • proofreading and editing
  • 3 one-hour brainstorming and feedback sessions
  • opportunity to ask questions via email throughout the process

Note that your academic advisor(s) and professionals in your field will have the most pertinent information about the formatting and content of your manuscript. Heed their advice!

Writing Workshops and Feedback Sessions ($80/hour)

Writing workshops provide writing skills and strategies that you can apply to future writing tasks. Here, we cover how to brainstorm, how to focus big ideas, how to logically organize our writing, and sentence-level writing moves. We can also work through professional communication strategies in emails, reports, and presentations. You may purchase this option as a supplement to an editing package, to ask questions about your manuscript. In addition to the live instruction, you will receive the Cool Cat Drafts guides worksheets used in the session.
